Fake news alert: Case of plane landing at Karachi airport

There is ‘news’ going around that the chartered jet that stopped some days ago in Karachi from India to Dubai carried some Pakistani passengers and that they were relatives of a sitting federal minister. That is incorrect. Official sources have told Pakistan Check that chartered Jet is owned by an Indian individual whose family was using it. The owner is said to be from a well-known family in India and the plane had stopped over in Karachi because of a technical issue. No passenger from Pakistan got on the plane when it was at Karachi airport & departed
