Elon Musk and his Twitter takeover: Separating fact from fiction

A WhatsApp message has gone viral in Pakistan. It talks about changes at Twitter that it claims have taken place after Elon Musk bought the social media platform.

A lot of the ‘info’ is false. For instance, the CEO fired is Indian but had moved to the US many years ago.

One other senior staffer who was fired was also born in India but moved with her family to the US at the age of 3. Two others fired are not Indian or Hindu. Furthermore no such announcement has been made by Twitter that it plans to shut its India office.
