There has been controversy over the death of Pakistan TI protesters during the party’s protests in Islamabad that culminated on November after a crackdown.
PTI leaders claimed that a number of the party’s supporters been killed allegedly due to firing by security personnel. Unconfirmed reports circulating on social media put the death toll much higher.
The PTI shared a video on its social media accounts allegedly showing the dead bodies of the victims lying in the mortuary of a hospital.
The video was captioned, “They were directly martyred, three to four have died and about thirty are injured due to gunfire, doctors also say the same.”
“Scenes of the polyclinic on that day when the public were shot directly through snipers,” it added.
The video was shared by a PTI supporter in the UK named Arslan Baloch. He claims that the clip is from Federal Government Polyclinic Hospital in Islamabad of PTI protesters killed in firing by law enforcement agencies.
CONCLUSION: There is no way to verify where this video was made and when. It must be noted that the video has a voiceover dubbed on it, bringing its authenticity into further doubt.

WHAT HAPPENED:
Normally, after any major incident, health authorities and institutions issue official lists of the number of dead and injured people who were brought to hospital.
However, healthcare authorities have not issued any such lists, and information being shared by journalists and social media users seem to be based on unverified reports.
This has allowed some elements to spread misinformation on social media.
A purported list of those brought to Islamabad’s Polyclinic hospital, circulated by social media showed that at least two persons had died while several others were injured.
In a statement, the hospital clarified that it had not issued any such list and that reports attributed to the hospital circulating on social media were fake.
Local media reported that six civilians and four security personnel were among the dead, with the injured transported to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Poly Clinic, and CDA Hospital.
PIMS reported receiving 27 injured police officers and 14 civilians, along with seven bodies—four of security personnel and three civilians.
Earlier Poly Clinic confirmed three deaths and 28 civilian injuries, while CDA Hospital treated two injured civilians, one with a gunshot wound and another hurt by tear gas.
