Body found hanging from a pedestrian bridge in Islamabad

Earlier today posts were circulating on social media of what appeared to be a dead bosh hanging from an overhead pedestrian bridge in Islamabad. The posts went on to suggest that this was somehow related to a threat to the city’s schools.

Police in Islamabad have confirmed that they have found a body and are investigating the possibility of a suicide. However this has nothing to do with any reported threat to the city’s educational institutions, which the Islamabad IG has said are safe and secure.
